KPT series is a towing Cable-powered Rail flat car, which directly introduces the ac 380V cable line into the flat car electrical control system to control the starting, stopping, forward and backward of the flat car. The cable is placed in the center of two tracks. The artificial system is controlled by low-voltage 36V power supply. The hydraulic lifting system can be installed on the flat car. As the mechanism is relatively simple and low cost, it is a common track flat car with short distance and over span in the workshop. Compared with the KPX series flat car, it is not limited by the use time. Compared with the KPD series flat car, it has low requirements for track laying and lower cost compared with the KPJ series flat car. The flat car is suitable for the occasions with short running distance (<=20m), high frequency of use and low vehicle height. For the occasions with short running distance and slow running speed, drag Chain can be used to reduce the wear of cables.
